During this long weekend we visited Hamburg for the first time and we got a very good impression about this German maritime city that once was member of the medieval Hanseatic League. We didn’t know but during those days the city was celebrating the “Port Birthday” and there a lot food stalls, bands playing and nice ships visiting the port. Berlin is still my favorite German city but this comes second very close.
